Basis: maximum take-off weight and distance flown.

For MTOW of 5,701 kg and above, the charge is calculated according to the following:

Charge = P x D x W


  • P = flat rate in USD (24.00 USD)

  • D = the distance factor in NM

  • W = weight factor which is equal to the square root of the quotient calculated by dividing by MTOW by 2,000:

W = √(MTOW(kg)/2000)

Landing Charges:

In Gaborone and Maun Airports:

  • 30,001-50,000 kg: 1,338.00 BWP for class I aerodrome, 887.00 BWP for class II aerodrome, 786.00 BWP for class III aerodrome

  • 50,001-70,000 kg: 1,920.00 BWP for class I aerodrome, 1,237.00 BWP for class II aerodrome, 1,018.00 BWP for class III aerodrome.

Parking Charges:

Over 30,000 to 50,000 kg: 262.00 BWP

Over 50,000 to 75,000 kg: 349.00 BWP
